This morning, The Queen led the nation in Remembrance during the annual service at the Cenotaph on Whitehall.

Other members of the Royal Family laid wreaths in tribute to the fallen, including Prince Harry, who laid his own wreath for the first time (he laid The Prince of Wales’s in 2009 and 2013).

This year, King Willem-Alexander of The Netherlands attended the service at the invitation of The Queen to mark the 70th anniversary of the liberation of The Netherlands.
